1 - Motivation

To start your leadership journey you will learn about the evolution of Motivation theory and practice; what is meant by Motivation and why Motivation is important today. You will also learn what factors motivate employees and what demotivates employees.

2 - Leadership and Management Skills

In this module we, explain what is meant by leadership and how it differs from management. You will learn some typical leadership styles and also learn what highly successful leaders do.

3 - Situational Leadership

We know that people can be different, so in this third module we show you how you can modify your leadership style to suit different individuals or groups and different organisational situations.

4 - Emotional Intelligence

In module four, we explore what is meant by emotional intelligence and it’s importance in leadership. You will learn how to improve your level of emotional intelligence and manage your relationship with others successfully.

5 - Conflict Management

Module five reviews the causes and symptoms of conflict in the workplace and how you can resolve conflict through different conflict management styles. You will learn some simple techniques to resolve conflict situations.

6 - High Performance Management

Here you will learn the characteristics of high performance management, in particular what motorsport high performance management can teach us. You will also learn what you need to do to practice high performance management.

7 - Employee Engagement

This module defines employee engagement and shows why it is important. You will learn how to develop an engaged workforce along with some useful tips for leadership behaviours that encourage employee engagement.

8 - Problem Solving

This final module explains why effective problem solving is one of the key attributes of successful leaders.  You will learn how to solve workplace problems, and prevent problems from arising, by using a variety of well-known techniques that are revealed here.
